RescueTime + Asana Integration
Connect Asana to RescueTime to help manage your Focus Sessions and keep track of your tasks and projects.
How to Setup Asana
1. Go to Settings > Manage Apps page > Under Explore Apps you'll see Asana > Click the link Learn more
2. Click C onnect your Asana account
3. Review the permissions and click Allow
4. Congratulations! Your Asana account is now connected to RescueTime.
5. Click on the gear icon to bring up the Settings.
Checkmark the workspaces you want to focus on and track in your Timesheets AI (beta), then click Save workspace choices
How it works
To start a Focus Session on a task, go to your Overview page > on the integration card click on the Asana dropdown to find the task you want to focus on > choose how long you want to Focus For (up to 60 minutes) > hit Start or the focus icon next to the task. It'll take a couple of seconds for the Focus Session to start.
By default, for integrations, RescueTime will block websites and apps that you scored as "Personal Activities."
You'll see (Already focusing...) during a Focus Session. You may need to refresh the Overview page to see this. This means you won't be able to start another focus task unless you end or cancel your Focus Session on the Assistant.
On Timesheets AI (beta), your integration task will be a timeline highlight. Any changes made to your Asana tasks will also appear as a timeline highlight.
To disconnect Asana from RescueTime simply go to your Manage Apps page > click on the gear icon > click Delete app
